BEHIND THE ART
I grew up in a small town in Ohio before moving to Yuma, Arizona—an experience that was a major cultural shift and a defining moment in my creative development. Art first became an emotional outlet, helping me adjust to a completely new environment. Over time, it turned into something I genuinely loved, especially as I began drawing cartoons, video game characters, and Japanese anime. That passion sparked my interest in pursuing art as a career and sharing the worlds and stories that inspire me.
When I’m not creating artwork, you’ll often find me immersed in other hobbies that fuel my imagination—playing video games, building 3D-printed props, or rolling dice in Dungeons & Dragons. I’m also a big reader with a constantly growing book list. Outside the studio, I love spending time on the water kayaking during Arizona’s warmer months.
I share my home with four of the best creative companions: my cats Tali, Garrus, and Oliver, and my American Bulldog/Boxer mix, Joker. Tali and Garrus—and Joker—take their names from my favorite video game series, Mass Effect, while Oliver’s name comes from Disney’s Oliver & Company. My love for fandoms is a big part of who I am, and it often finds its way into my art—whether on the page, on a canvas, or born from a 3D printer.
