Become Acquainted with Mel

When Mel was a kid, they grew up in Ohio and moved to Yuma, AZ. It was a huge culture shock going from a small town in the Midwest to a border town. It made them get into art as an emotional outlet at first, and found themselves having fun drawing cartoons, video games, and Japanese anime characters. Which in turn started making them want to make it a career.

They’re currently based in Phoenix, AZ, and are more than willing to spread their wings. When not drawing, playing video games, Dungeons and Dragons, or even printing things from their 3D printer, they tend to stay inside and read books that are on their overwhelming lost list. During the summer, you can also catch them paddleboarding and hanging out with their two cats, Tali and Garrus, and their American Bulldog/Boxer mix, Joker. All three of their names come from their favorite video game series, Mass Effect!
